The Iranian American Republicans of California (IARC) reaffirms its strong support for the maximum pressure strategy against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This policy remains the most effective approach in countering Iran’s nuclear ambitions, destabilizing regional activities, and human rights abuses.
Recent U.S. diplomatic efforts, including discussions between President Donald J. Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have highlighted the ongoing threat posed by Iran’s influence in the Middle East. These talks reinforce the need to sustain and strengthen sanctions to prevent Tehran from funding terrorist proxies and advancing its nuclear program.
Furthermore, leading Senate Republicans have expressed serious concerns regarding any new negotiations with Iran, warning that concessions would embolden the regime rather than curb its aggressive actions. IARC echoes these concerns, emphasizing that diplomacy with the Islamic Republic should not come at the expense of U.S. national security, regional stability, and the Iranian people’s fight for freedom.
IARC stands firmly behind policies that:
Maintain and expand sanctions against the Iranian regime.
Prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
Cut off funding to terrorist organizations backed by Tehran.
Support the Iranian people in their pursuit of democracy and self-determination.
We urge Congress and the administration to reject any premature deals with Iran that undermine American and allied security interests. The maximum pressure, maximum support doctrine must remain the cornerstone of U.S. policy towards Iran—pressuring the regime while empowering the Iranian people.
About the Iranian American Republicans of California (IARC):
IARC is committed to advancing conservative values and advocating for policies that support a free and democratic Iran. As a voice for Iranian Americans, we work to ensure that U.S. foreign policy prioritizes both maximum pressure on the Islamic Republic and maximum support for the Iranian people.
